Sea Pines is the home for four of the islands golf courses. Sea Pines Country Club is a private club located just inside the main gate on Greenwood Drive. Not a long course at 6383 yards from the back tees, accuracy, not length, is the name of the game here as it winds its way through the lagoons, live oaks and pines. Further into the plantation you'll find the Ocean course and the newly built Pete Dye course Heron Point which replaced the well known Sea Marsh course. Heron Point opened to the public in the fall of 2007 to rave reviews. Last, but not least by any means, is the home of the Verizon Heritage, ranked 15th by Golf Digest for America's greatest public courses for 2007-8 and in it's top 100 greatest American courses, Harbour Town Golf Links gives any player the opportunity to play where the pros battle it out in April. There's nothing like the view of the world famous lighthouse as you approach the 18th green to attempt your birdie putt. While you're on the course, your family has plenty of amenities to enjoy, which is the ultimate allure of Sea Pines plantation.
