Berkeley Hall is not only one of the premier private golf communities in the area, its one of the premier private golf communities in the country! Berkeley Hall's 680 acres feature a 45,000 square foot Jeffersonian style clubhouse with 7 different restaurants, one of the top rated locker rooms in the country and fully equipped pro shop, a 14,500 square foot spa and fitness center that has both indoor and outdoor pools, spa treatment rooms, modern fitness center, tennis complex and playground, River Park, a community dock with picnic areas and a 25 foot pontoon boat that members and guests can cruise along the mile of Okatie River that borders Berkeley Hall, a 30 acre golf practice facility, miles of walking trails, and we haven't even got to the golf courses yet!
Berkely Hall is home to TWO Tom Fazio designed "core" golf courses (a "core" golf course has no homes or streets inside it's borders), creating a serene environment for the player. The North course plays at 7117 yards from the back tees while the South course plays at 7126 yards. While each course has 5 sets of tees for all skill levels, that's where the likeness ends. The South course with it's bermuda greens is more of a parkland experience, the North course with it's bentgrass greens brings all the experiences of lowcountry golf into play.
